Texas School Shooting: 21 die in firing, Biden says will change law of possessing a gun

Texas School Shooting: The Texas province of United States is once again in news, this time its for an indiscriminate shooting at a school on Tuesday afternoon. An 18-year-old man opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Yuvalde. A total of 18 students and 3 teachers have died in this attack. 13 children, school staff members and some policemen have also been injured in the firing incident. US President Joe Biden has declared three days of state mourning after the attack. Meanwhile, police officials claimed to have killed the attacker.

US President Joe Biden said that the incident at the school Rob Elementary School was very sad. Addressing the nation, Biden said, “It is time to take action. We need to tell those who delay or obstruct the Common Sense Gun Law. We will not forget them. Our prayers are for the parents who are lying on the bed wondering if they will be able to sleep in this pain.”

Biden said in his address to the nation that as a country we have to ask when in the name of God we will stand in front of the gun lobby and do what needs to be done. Parents will never be able to see their children again. It is like tearing the soul.

Biden has announced a half-mast at sunset on May 28 at all military and naval ships, stations, and all US embassies abroad and other offices in honor of those killed in the shootings at Robb Elementary School. The US President spoke with Texas Governor Greg Abbott to assist him in the wake of the school shooting.

At the same time, after the Texas school shooting, Vice President Kamala Harris said, “Enough is enough now… we should have the courage to act”.

The Most Horrific Shooting Ever

This was by far the most horrific shooting in the history of Texas. 600 children study in this school present in this Uvalde city of Texas. Entering the school, an 18-year-old boy fired indiscriminately, the attacker targeted innocent children studying in the second, third and fourth grades.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the suspect had been identified as Salvador Ramos. He is a resident of Yuvalde. Officials said the suspect also shot his grandmother before firing at the school. Her grandmother has been airlifted, she is battling for life and death.

After the Texas incident, the photo of a young man went viral on social media. This Instagram page is being told of Salvador Ramos. On this is a photo of a young man with a mobile. Apart from this, photos of rifles have also been posted on the page. It is being told that this Texas is the suspect of the firing. However, these photos have not been officially confirmed yet. This Instagram page was also removed shortly after the shooting.

This incident of firing in a Texas school is similar to the 2012 firing in Connecticut. On December 14, 2012, a 20-year-old man opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary High School in Newtown, Connecticut. 26 people died in this attack, 20 of them were children. It was the worst mass shooting in US history.
