Ground Breaking Ceremony 3: Top Corporate identities including Adani, Hiranandani to attend

Lucknow: Gearing up to make Uttar Pradesh a hub of industrialization, the Yogi Adityanath government is all set to organize the third Ground Breaking Ceremony on June 3 in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and over 62 top industry captains who have confirmed their presence as of now.

Prominent among those who have confirmed their participation in the event in Lucknow, are Kumar Mangalam Birla, Gautam Adani, Sanjeev Goenka, Sajjan Jindal, Niranjan Hiranandani and Sudhir Mehta.

The historic event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will also perform the bhumi-pujan for nearly two thousand projects worth Rs 75,000 crores, virtually. This would be the third groundbreaking ceremony under the Yogi Adityanath government during the last five years but the first after he returned to power.

While Kumar Mangalam Birla is heading the Aditya Birla Group, which has operations across 36 countries, Gautam Adani is the chairman and founder of the Adani Group. Niranjan Hiranandani is the co-founder and managing director of Hiranandani Group.

During this, PM Modi will also inaugurate an exhibition which will have stalls showcasing products of 12 startups and 14 investors. Apart from this, ODOP will put up about 62 stalls. Eminent and leading industrialists of the country and abroad will also share their views in GBC-III.

Among the prominent projects that would be kicked off by the groundbreaking are data centres of Adani and Hiranandani groups worth Rs 4900 crore and Rs 9100 crore respectively along with the Rs 2100-crore software development centres of Microsoft. While, Medical Device Park will also be built in the Yamuna Expressway area.

Ten committees formed at government level, monitoring of Ground Breaking Ceremony work by Chief Secretary and IIDC

About 3,000 people are expected to attend GBC 3 to be held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. It also includes central officials including union ministers. At the government level, 10 committees have been formed for GBC 3. IIDC and the Chief Secretary are personally monitoring the projects to be included in GBC 3.

Industries leaders including Kumar Mangalam Birla, Sanjeev Goenka to be present 

Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has sent invitations to 150 leading industrialists. Invitations have been sent by the department to all the investors investing worth more than Rs.3 crore. The event will be attended by Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of Aditya Birla Group, Sanjeev Goenka, chairman of RPSG Group, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, MD and CEO of Paytm, Sanjeev Puri, Chairman and MD of ITC Ltd, RC Bhargava, chairman of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Dr. Naresh Trehan chairman of Medanta, Producer and Director Boney Kapoor along with Lulu Group MD Yusuf Ali.

Others who will be attending will include BrahMos CEO and MD Atul Dinkar Rane, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Chairman Sudhir Mehta, Ola Founder Bhavish Agarwal, Godrej Properties Executive Chairman Pirojsha Adi Godrej, Infosys Founder Mohan Das Pai, Producer and Director KC Bokadia, Ginni Filaments CMD Shishir Jaipuria, Sri Baidyanath Ayurveda MD Anurag Sharma, Greenko Group Founder and MD Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty, MAQ Software MD Rajeev Agarwal, Oyo Founder and CEO Ritesh Agarwal, Chandra Prakash AgarwalChairman/Managing Director, Gallantt Metal Ltd, Sukhbir Singh, Director, Sukhbir Agro Energy Ltd., Lalit Thukral, Chairman, Noida Apparel Export Cluster, Sekharipuram Narayanan Subrahmanyam along with Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro.
